Improved basecoat-clearcoat paint coating compositions which may be ambient cured are disclosed. The coating compositions comprise: 1) a hydroxyl functional coreactant, 2) at least one anhydride functional coreactant and, 3) a carbodiimide compound. The improved compositions cure at a rate especially useful as refinish paint compositions.
