The blower has an axial inlet airflow and a tangential outlet flow. The outlet is split into two ducts (46,54) by shaped deflection edges (64,70) which draw off an even airflow pattern. One duct (46) draws air from nearer the centre of the rotor and is shaped in a curved track. The other duct is wider and draws air from the outside of the blower housing. The inner, small duct deflector edge is convex while that of the larger duct deflector (70) is concave. The deflector edges shape the collected airstream to provide an even airflow to the shakers etc.. |
