PURPOSE: To reduce the down time of image forming device to a minimum by quickly analyzing causes of the abnormality of process control operation. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a means 32 storing information related on at least two out of the size of a transfer material, the surface potential of a photoreceptor and the potential of a developing bias, calculating developing potential based on the stored information and judging the abnormality of the process control operation based on the calculated result, a means 32 recording at least a parameter value related on the process control operation and the information obtained when the process control operation is judged to be abnormal in the case that it is judged to be abnormal by the means 32 and a means retrieving and displaying the information recorded by the means 32 in response to a retrieving command. |
