PURPOSE: To reduce costs through integration by making a surface toward the center of a lens coincide with an inner-surface ridge which separates a lens part from a side face part, and extending toward a housing an extension rib subjected to see-through preventing process. CONSTITUTION: This vehicular headlight 1 has a reflector 6 provided inside a lamp chamber 4 consisting of a lens 2 and a housing 3, the reflector 6 having a bulb 5 mounted therein while its optical axis is adjusted from the outside by means of an adjustment tolerance 7 provided between the reflector 6 and the lamp chamber 4. An extension rib 21 is provided on the inner surface of the lens 2 while its center surface 21a with respect to a lens part 2a is made to coincide with a ridge 2c separating the lens part 2a from a side face part 2b. The rib 21 is extended toward the housing 3, is in an appropriate relation to the reflector 6, and has its surface 21a or 21b subjected to see-through preventing process such as a pear skin finish. Thus the number of part items can be reduced through the integration of the lens 2 with the rib 21, and the cost of the headlight can be reduced. |
