摘要 PURPOSE: To extremely reduce the interruption frequency of a transmission line by obstacles. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting optical system 21 in this optical space transmission equipment 20 has a single light source 23. Light radiated from the light source 23 is turned to parallel light through a collimeter lens 24 and made incident upon a multi-array lens 25. The lens 25 consists of plural lens elements (concave lenses) 25a having negative power. Thereby plural divergent optical paths are formed by the lens 25 even when the number of light sources is one. A photodetecting lens 25 in a receiving optical system 22 is arranged on the overlapped part of plural divergent light beams radiated from the lens 25. Even when an obstacle exists in any one of plural optical paths, optical transmission can be attained through the other optical paths.
