PURPOSE: To measure the natural frequency of a disc-like metal member within a short time. CONSTITUTION: A disc rotor 1 is supported by a support device 2 through a soft member part, and the disc surface 12 of the supported disc rotor 1 is hit with a hammer provided on an exciting device 3 to excite the disc rotor 1. The vibration of the disc rotor 1 is detected as sound wave by a microphone 4, and the detected signal is frequency-analyzed by a frequency analyzing device 5 to gain the natural frequency of the disc rotor 1. |
