PURPOSE: To enable a user to easily set and visually confirm a free holding tone or response message music. CONSTITUTION: A RAM 7 for sequence data where data related to a musical interval and an output time is stored, a musical scale generation circuit 8 which outputs this data as a sound signal, and a guide rhythm generation circuit 9 which assists in setting the data are provided. When the user inputs music by the operation on a keyboard 12, a CPU 1 successively converts it into musical interval data and stores it in the RAM 7 for sequence data together with time data of the time spent till the depression of the next key, thus generating a holding tone or response message music. When the print output mode is set, the CPU 1 calls sequence data and converts it into character data by the program in a system ROM 3 and prints it on recording paper like a simple musical score. |
