PURPOSE: To suppress the bad influence of an electric noise by a voltage applied to an electro-optical element on a frequency shifter. CONSTITUTION: In a frequency shifter, a voltage is applied to electro-optical elements 11a, 11b, and the phase of a luminuous flux which is incident on the electro-optical elements 11a, 11b is modulated. In the frequency shifter, shield means 12, 14 are installed in such a way that a circuit part 20 which generates the voltage applied to the electro-optical elements 11a, 11b are shielded from an external circuit. |
