PURPOSE: To prevent defective bonding by insufficient compression upon inclination of the compression surface. CONSTITUTION: A capillary 5 comprises a tapered capillary body 21, and a tip member 22 fitted to the tip the tip member 22 has a circumferential groove 23 made in the outer circumferential surface and the upper part of the groove 23 is protruding spherically. The capillary body 21 is provided, at the tip with a spherical recess to be fitted with the spherical protrusion. The tip member 22 is fitted to rock along the spherical recess when the spherical protrusion is press fitted in the spherical recess. Even if an inner lead 16 inclines by an angle α against a horizontal plane, the tip member 22 rocks such that the central axis will be normal to the compression surface of the inner lead 16 when the tip of the capillary 5 touches the inner lead 16. Consequently, the tip of the capillary 5 touches compression surface of the inner lead 16 uniformly thus preventing the shifted touch. |
