PURPOSE: To provide a thermionic element, which has little internal resistance and consists of an FeSi2 material which brings out a high output and the perfor mance of a high generating efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A thermionic element has blocks 21 and 22, which consist of two different materials, joined with each other where a temperature difference is given to generate power to the joint. In the thermionic element, the blocks 21 and 22 consist of a porous structure formed by making a tape-shaped thin material, which is obtainable by adding Cu to an FeSi2 material, laminate. |
