The flywheel comprises two coaxial members (1, 2) able to move relative to one another and counter to a resilient damper (3) with at least one spring (31) which is pivoted to both members. The position of the spring varies with the relative movement of the two coaxial members, which are linked by a central bearing (14). The first of the two coaxial members has a central sleeve (13) on which the bearing and the second member are mounted, and the spring is connected to the inner edge of one member and the outer edge of the other, being set in an aperture (16) in the first member's disc which is also used for ventilation.
