PURPOSE: To easily set a fixed base at a position where the read of an original is efficiently performed by installing the fixed base provided with a pin bar and a fixing mechanism fixing the sliding of the fixed base. CONSTITUTION: An original set base 13 for setting the original (an old plate 1 or a new plate 2) and formed of a glass plate is installed above a line sensor. A pin bar set 15 is installed on the front surface of the scanner provided with the original set base 13. The pin bar set 15 is equipped with the fixed base 17 provided with the pin bar 16. Furthermore, the fixed base 17 is installed to freely slide along a groove for sliding 20 formed on a scanner body 19. The fixed base 17 is constituted so that the sliding is fixed or released by the actuation of the fixing mechanism 22. The fixed base 17 is allowed to slide with respect to the original set base 13 in a state where the original is locked on the pin bar 16, and the fixed base 17 is positioned at a place where image reading is performed in a short time, and the sliding of the fixed base 17 is fixed by using the fixing mechanism 22. |
