PURPOSE: To provide the semiconductor integrated circuit device which minimizes the extension of the physical scale and reduces the operation frequency to reduce the current consumption by constituting a sequence circuit of a dynamic circuit or a static circuit correspondingly to the pulse width. CONSTITUTION: A single-chip microcomputer consists of function blocks of a CPU, a ROM, a RAM, a timer, an SCI, IOPs 1 to 7, a CPG(clock oscillator), a clock control circuit, etc., and the CPG and the clock control circuit consist of an oscillator, a frequency divider, an edge detection circuit, a no-overlap generation circuit which generates a system clock, etc., and the pulse width of one of two-phase system clocks is extended, and the sequence circuit of function blocks synchronized with a system clockϕ1 having the longer pulse width consists of a dynamic circuit, and that of function blocks synchronized with a system clockϕ2 having the shorter pulse width consists of a static circuit.
