PURPOSE: To enable the attainment of data on a slice even in a part of the joint of different data collecting positions in three-dimensional data collection by ECT equipment. CONSTITUTION: A detector ring assembly RA comprises detector rings in (n) stages. At the time when the width of one stage of the detector ring isα, the detector ring assembly RA is moved relatively by (2.d/3) in relation to a subject H after data corresponding to a volume v1 of a thickness d (=α.n) are collected at some position. At the position to which the assembly is moved, data corresponding to a subsequent volume v2 of the thickness (d) are collected. Since the data on a part of joint of the adjacent data are collected in an overlapping manner, the data on a slice can be obtained in the part of joint.
