PURPOSE: To confirm the contacting state of each contact for guide to a section with a simple structure and to easily retain the section at a specific bend angle by displacing each contact for guide in the component-of-force direction of tension against the energization force of a spring, and at the same time, detecting the displacement position. CONSTITUTION: A pair of support bodies 5 are mounted to a case 1 through a horizontal leaf spring 6 so that they can be displaced vertically holding a load detector 2 between the bodies, and each contact 8 for guide consisting of a cylinder is arranged at a protruding part of the support bodies 5 holding a contact 4 for detection between them. In the case of detecting tension, a section L is brought into contact vertically with the probe 4 from above or below, and the contact 8 is displaced by the reaction force vertically against the energization force of the spring 6. Each position detector 7 detects a displacement position, and outputs a signal through the contact 8 when the section L has reached a displacement position corresponding to a specific bend angleθ, and a display 10 displays tension only when the section L retains the angleθ.
