PURPOSE: To provide a power control system for integrated terminal adapter device which reduces the unnecessary power consumption of the terminal interface of an integrated terminal adapter device and intentionally reduces the power consumption or the terminal interface at the time or a power failure. CONSTITUTION: An IS-TA interface 13 sends a phantom feed power to a voltage conversion part 14 through an IS-LAN line 100. The voltage conversion part 14 converts the phantom feed power into a voltage to send it to a feed distribution control part 15. An IS-TA control part 16 controls each part in the device and receives the mode bit display value on an HMC field in an IS-LAN line TDM frame to not only use it for the control of terminal interfaces 10 to 12 but also send it to the feed distribution control part 15. This part 15 handles this mode bit value as feed control information and supplies or stops the voltage from the voltage conversion part 14 to each terminal interface, thus controlling the feed distribution. |
