PURPOSE: To composite a natural moving image which is small in storage capacity and free from absence of its background by compositing an object image in a previously recorded moving image by using a moving image which is replaced with another inputted object image and made hierarchical. CONSTITUTION: In a data base part 101, encoded moving image data 111 generated by separating a moving image according to its before-after relation and constituting a hierarchical image and encoding it and structure information time-series data 112 on an object in the moving image are recorded, and another image of the object, an input image 113 as structure information, and input structure information 114 are inputted, a compositing object image 118 is composited from a structure information corresponding to a frame, and the compositing object image and a hierarchical image 117 which has been hierarchically decoded are outputted while put one over the other by a hierarchical image compositing part 106, thus compositing the moving image having the object in the moving image replaced with the inputted object image. |
