The fixing device attaches the cable bundle (2) to the motor vehicle body (4) by a tongue (2b) pressed into a recess in the vehicle body. The cable bundle is held inside a sheath with the tongue moulded along its length. The tongue has a profile that has a rounded head and a curved neck. The head of the tongue presses into a curved recess formed in the vehicle body. The recess has a circular profile that rolls over to form a lip that engages in the neck of the tongue, holding the cable bundle in place. The recess may be formed by folding sheet metal and attaching the folded sheet to the vehicle, running part or all the length of the vehicle. |
