For this time, a high voltage from a high-voltage power source for electrifying 8 is applied to a scorotron electrifier 2, but a grid voltage VG applied to the grid 2c of the scorotron electrifier 2 from a grid power source 7 is lowered up to a nearly grounding potential by a control part 9. Consequently, the electrifier 2 becomes an unelectrifying state by a charge wire 2a. For this time, a developing bias voltage VB obtained by dividing the high voltage VH is applied to a developing unit 4, so that even if the drum 1 is rotated, it is never stained with the sticking of the toner of the developing unit 4. |
