PURPOSE: To perform an emulating operation in accordance with every individual type number by preparing an emulation device that is accordant with the master type number of a CPU. CONSTITUTION: A 1st program is carried out to perform zero-clearance of the record contents of a data cache memory 32 contained in a CPU 1 of a computer device that should be analyzed. A 2nd program is carried out to mutually transcribe the contents between the memory 32 and an instruction cache memory 33 of the CPU 1. Then a 3rd program is carried out to perform zero-clearance of the transcribed record contents of the memory 32. The capacity of both internal memories 32 and 33 of the CPU 1 are detected by means of a 4th program that is used for input and storage of the tentative data into the memory 32 and a 5th program that is used for detection of the data stored in the memory 32. Thus the individual standard of the CPU 1 is decided, and the program of the computer device is analyzed by an emulation program that is adaptive to the individual standard of the CPU 1. |
