DIELECTRIC RESONATOR AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE: To improve deterioration in no load Q by improving deterioration in a conductor loss. CONSTITUTION: This resonator is provided with a prismatic resonator element 11 made of a sintered dielectric material, a throughhole 17 penetrated from one open end face 14 toward the other termination face 15 of the resonator element 11, an outer peripheral electrode 12 covering an outer peripheral face except the open end face, and an inner circumferential electrode 13 covering the inner peripheral face of the throughhole 17. A cross sectional shape of a ridge part 18 and a corner 16 formed between the termination face 15 of the resonator element 11 and a cross sectional shape of a ridge formed between the termination face 15 and the throughhole 17 are formed to be circular-arc to uniformize a thickness of the electrode.
