PURPOSE: To enable preparative distribution of a specimen efficiently, accurately and at a high speed. CONSTITUTION: A specimen is received and sorted in a receiving process A and the specimen finished with the sorting is dispensed in a dispensing process B. In other words, in the receiving process A, sorting information on the specimen held by a specimen holding section of a specimen rack for sorting is stored into a DC of the specimen rack for sorting and the sorting information is read out of the DC by a DCR and a sorting device determines a sorting destination based on the sorting information read out. In the dispensing process B, the specimen finished with the sorting is housed into the specimen rack and dispensing information on the specimen is stored into the DC of the specimen rack. The dispensing information is read out from the DC of the specimen rack by the DCR to perform a dispensing of the specimen by a dispensing unit based on the dispensing information. |
