The invention relates to a chimney system for a condensing boiler with at least one flue gas pipe (20) and at least one air pipe (10) which are arranged to surround each other in such a way that the outer wall (22) of one pipe (20) forms a surrounding wall for the other (10). Such an arrangement is also referred to as an air-flue gas chimney and is used in small heating plants to preheat the air of combustion supplied to the condensing boiler. In order also to make it possible to humidify the air of combustion using simple constitutive means and thus to raise the dew-point of the water vapour in the flue gas and allow better use of condensation enthalpy, according to the invention there are condensate collector plates (28) on the flue gas side of the shared wall, in the region of each condensate collector plate there is at least one bore (34) connecting the flue gas and air sides and there is a condensate distributor (36) on the air side in the region of each bore. The disributor preferably consists of a mat (36) with a capillary action with which the wall (22) on the air side is lined. The condensate derived from the flue gas is thus effectively evaporated on the air side of the arrangement. |
