Planar power decoupler for waveguides

The decoupler is located in a cross-sectional plane of an elongated waveguide (1) vertically to its axis between its feed and propagating section. It consists of a metallised, dielectric substrate, with a conductive structure (2) formed in the metal film and into which is integrated at least one slit conductor (5) at the edge, containing at least one lateral decoupling line. The slit conductor(s) is fitted at both ends with sort circuiting ends (6) and locates over its entire length an outer edge adjacent to the waveguide border (8). The electric length of a slit conductor corresponds to the wavelength of the mean frequency of the decoupler. One short circuiting end has effective electric spacing of 1/4 of the wavelength of the mean frequency of the waveguide to the coupling point of a decoupling line (3).
