Comparison of colour samples during generation of index prints for colour copier with automatic illumination control
摘要
The method involves acquiring the image signals for index print generation with an image sensor whose spectral sensitivity differs from the copier material for the image prints. The image signals are detected from a large number of films of a single film type using an average camera (3) setting, e.g. a setting which produces three equal magnitude signals when exposed to white light. The mean colour sample of all index prints for this film is compensated experimentally by altering the camera setting and the required setting for this film type is stored. The setting values are used as correction values for the acquisition of image signals with similar film types.
