Switchgear housing with frame and wall elements

A switchgear housing is produced with a frame constructed from sections that are of hollow form produced from sheet material in a forming process. The section produced is symmetrical about the centre and has sides that are at right angles to each other with strips of hardening adhesive attached to them. The sections may be used as the corner uprights, top and bottom cross members and as a door frame. Panels may be bonded to them. The edges of the panels may be folded to interlock with each other.
