<p>1α,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol is a naturally occurring form of Vitamin D3. Vitamin D3 is converted to 1α, 25-dihydroxycholecalciferol in the liver and kidney before it acts to stimulate intestinal calcium and phosphorous absorption. Parenteral solutions of 1α, 25-dihydroxycholecalciferol are suitable for replacement therapy.</p> |
