In order to provide an economical, non-slip and flexible clothes hanger (1) for the careful storage of clothing, the proposal is that the hanger (3) consist of a continuous plastic tube (4), especially a cylindrical, hollow polyurethane foam tube. The natural elasticity of the plastic tube (4) makes it adaptable to the item of clothing concerned, while the hook (2) can easily be inserted into the plastic tube (4). It is also possible easily to fit cross-pieces (8) to hold further items of clothing by inserting them into the ends of the plastic tube (4).
