<p>An electrical connector assembly (10) comprising a socket and a plug and a medial wire termination device which includes an insulative housing (56, 57) with a socket receiving recess (12) at one end (11) and a plug engaging projection (14) at the other end (13). Between the socket and the plug there are transversely spaced, generally parallel metallic contacts (16, 18). On each of these metallic contacts there is a pair of wire receiving terminals (44, 46, 48, 50) each of which terminals is adjacent to a wire receiving aperture (68, 70) in the housing.</p> |
