Connector holder for use with wiring loom producing machine

The connector holder is for a machine used to produce wiring looms which has a handling device for positioning the electrical connectors (16). The holder has a vertical arm with a top support point for a leaf spring (36) that is deflected as the connector is inserted from the side. The downward force from the spring holds the connector against the base as the spring slides along a surface (44). When fully inserted the rear edge of the converter locates against a lip (28). Removal of the connector is carried out by a plunger.
