Food slicing machine

The slicing machine, especially for food items, consists of a circular blade or band-saw and a support plate for the product which is positionally adjustable, for slice control, by means of a control unit, stepper motor, worm drive and magnetic switches. The product to be sliced is placed on the base plate (9) and held against a support plate (8), which is adjustable in relation to the knife (4), for thickness control, through a worm (26), engaging a fixed peg, and driven by a stepper motor which is controlled by an electronic unit (3).
