Cover means for covering manometers or similar objects, comprising a generally bell-shaped covering body (2), where at least one part of said covering body (2) comprises a window (3) of transparent material. At least one part of this window (3) is provided with an additional layer (4) of transparent material. This makes it considerably easier to carry out the reading of, e.g., manometers while work such as a painting operation is in progress.
