A loudspeaker device attachable to and detachable from a video monitor. The drawback that it is troublesome to attach a loudspeaker additionally and the appearance of a video monitor is bad when the loudspeaker is detached is eliminated. The top of the case housing a loudspeaker fits to the bottom of the front panel of the video monitor. The loudspeaker device is integrally attached to the bottom of the front panel of the monitor supported on base by engaging an engaging member provided to either the top of the case or the bottom of the front panel with an engaging hole formed in the other of them. Since this loudspeaker device is light and compact, the device is easily attached to and detached from the monitor by utilizing the dead space between the monitor and the base.
