A mains operated electric equipment has consumers (6) in a standby-mode, other consumers (R1) in operation, a microprocessor controller ( mu C) for driving at least the other consumers (R1) and a device (4, 5) connected to the mains to generate a direct voltage for driving the microprocessor controller ( mu C). An accumulator is connected in parallel to the microprocessor controller ( mu C) to supply it with energy. In order to more reduce losses in standby mode by simple means, the energy accumulator is a capacitor (C), a switching element (7a, 7b) capable of being actuated by the microprocessor controller ( mu C) is arranged in the mains line (3) and the microprocessor controller ( mu C) recharges the capacitor (C) through the switching element (7a, 7b) at determined time intervals. |
