The mould tool (10) has tool plates, e.g. platens (12, 13) and mounting plates (11, 15). A tool functional element (W) comprises guide bolt (F), centring element, and mould insert, and may be part- (32) inserted in a holding recess (17, 18) of the tool plates. (W) accepts an externally-operable holding screw (36) resisting axial (x) thrust and tension and mounted for rotation. Its external thread (39) engages the internal thread in the base of the recess. In the new design, the recess is part of a passage (18) through the tool plate, in which a filling piece (K) may be inserted. This provides the base of the holding recess and the threaded bore. In the passage (17, 18) there is an axial securing device (24) and a device (48, 51) securing against co-rotation of bore (38) and screw (36).
