Plastics or metal roofing tile

The roofing tile (4) may be formed from injection moulded plastics or deep-drawn metal, and comprises a forward projecting frame (5) which has a window-type recess (6). The frame has corner bridging crosspieces on diagonally opposite corners (9). The crosspieces stretch between the defining frame walls (7,8) and form a notch mounting space (11) which has a triangular cross-section. The bridging crosspieces have a bead (12) or corresponding insertion slanting. The lower frame wall (7) has an inner locking stem (13). Attaching parts, e.g. a sanitary or roof ventilator can be fitted to the roofing tile. The attaching part engages over the fitting position of the frame in a lid-type and complementary fashion.
