The instrument for iontophoresis has a compact shape and is intended for domestic use, it comprises a grip portion (1) made of an electrically conductive material, one or more batteries (14) and a current regulator (10) received inside the grip portion (1), and a replaceable part (17, 20) for the application of the ionic substance which can easily dissociate and penetrate inside the treated part of organism.
