Automatic operating mechanism for hinged door

The door (1) is supported on hinges and is fitted with an automatic opening mechanism that consists of a linkage (3) that is pivot mounted (4,5) onto the door and a frame (6). Actuation is provided by an electric motor (2). Located on both sides of the door are sensors that detect the presence of individuals and energise the motor. The door has the interconnecting electrical cables passing through threaded sleeve in a hole in the door and this is filled with a sealant and sealed with lock nuts.
