Fluidised bed for silo floor with discharge aperture

The silo has a floor plate of gas permeable material, located above a distribution chamber for the conveying gas. The floor plate is divided into segments (6) with guides (7) on adjacent edges. Pref. the guides surround the segment edge in a U-shaped pattern. Typically on the segment top side is fitted a seal between the segment and guide. The discharge aperture (5) is surrounded by a peripheral groove, into which are inserted the segments with their front edges, facing the discharge aperture.
