The invention relates to a novel use of deproteinised haemodialysate from calf's blood for the treatment and/or prevention of inflammatory or non-inflammatory arthritis. For this purpose the haemodialysate is preferably injected into the joint concerned intra-articularly in combination with a 5 % glucose solution.
