Arrangement for precise positioning of patients breasts during diagnostic and surgical procedures

The arrangement (10) for precise position of the patients breasts is used for diagnostic or surgical procedures. It has a frame on which the patient lies stomach downwards with her head and arms on a first part and the rest of the body on a second part of the frame. The breasts hang in a space between the two parts of the frame. A strip of warmed thermoplastic material is introduced under the nipples to form a support which can be fastened at the back of the patient. The material is moulded to the breasts and is then cooled and allowed to harden.
