The invention describes a mobile collapsible flood barrier consisting of individual stackable sections (601), the two longitudinal ends of which engage for securing purposes in a U-section arranged perpendicularly to the sections. The individual sections engage together by means of horizontal S-shaped toothed projections on their upper side (602) and lower side (603) and thus transmit to their adjacent sections a part of the load caused by the pressure of the water which can act upon them.
