Linear roller bearing using fixer screws

One or more of the bearing rollers (7) is fitted in its inner ring (8) hole with a clamp (11) to partly close the fixer screw (9). The clamp can be made of metal e.g. zinc sheeting or polymer and conforms over its inside surface to the shape of the screw it contacts and the outside is curved to match that of the screw hole provided in the inner ring of the bearing. Pref. both rollers per pair have screw clamps and one roller is equipped with a circular distance ring (12) in the inner ring to enclose the fixer screw. Assuming the rail (1) support (6) to be carried by two pairs of roller bearings, the bearing to the right of the rail has an inner ring clamp as opposed to the bearing on the left which here has the distance sleeve.
