TURNING CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLES

A turning control device for vehicles that selects two wheels on a diagonal line as first target wheels depending on a turning condition of a vehicle when it is turned while braking is being applied thereto, increases or decreases the braking force of these first target wheels and effects a yawing moment control of the vehicle. When an anti-skid brake system is activated while this yawing moment control is being effected, the turning control device selects one of the remaining wheels other than the first target wheels as a second target wheel and decreases the braking force of this second target wheel so as not only to impart a restoring moment to the vehicle but also to prevent the locking of the second target wheel.
