Diffuser and reflector for tubular fluorescent light source

The diffuser is slit in such a manner as to allow the lighting tube to be inserted and retained by parts of the sheet formed by the slits. A flat sheet (1) of suitable material, such as 2mm thick cardboard, has a number of slits (2) cut into it in such a way as to permit a fluorescent tube (3) to be passed under and over alternate sections.
