<p>A tetraxial fabric, formed by the crisscross of warp yarns (A,B), weft yarns (C,D), and bias yarns (E,F) having two different diagonal directions, exhibits a constant isotropy and evennes and can be made with a fill coefficient of up to 100%, thanks to the fact that a first course of warp yarns (A) is overlaid by the weft yarns (C,D) and, in turn, overlies the bias yarns (E,F), and that a second course of warp yarns (B), which alternate to the warp yarns (A) in the first course, overlies the weft yarns (C,D) and is, in turn, overlaid by the bias yarns (E,F); a weaving machine for the manufacture of that tetraxial fabric is devised to alternately form, in the fabric formation area, two sheds between the warp yarns (A,B) for passing the weft yarns (C,D) at opposite sides with respect to the bias yarns (E,F). <IMAGE></p> |
