FIELD: instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture of equipment for continuous physico-chemical experiments in laboratories, in particular, to a device for saturating gas streams with vapors of an one-component liquid kept at a constant temperature. Device of invention provides, on its outlet, vapor-gas mixtures with equilibrium concentration of vapor of the liquid corresponding to partial pressure of the vapor at controlled temperature of the liquid. Saturator has cylindrical vessel with liquid, thermostat for the vessel, submerged gas-intake pipe with opened lower end, vapor-gas mixture discharge pipe, liquid-intake pipe, fully submerged upright coil with its lower end connected to gas-intake pipe and open upper end reaching the level 3-5 mm below the liquid surface level. Lower end of gas-intake pipe below the point where it is connected with coil has an organized space opened from below into the liquid at a distance 1-2 cm from bottom. Saturator is further provided with a system for automatically maintaining liquid level in cylindric vessel. EFFECT: provided perseverance in vapor-gas ratio when varying gas intake in saturator. |
