FIELD: bulk material separating equipment used in chemical, construction material, metallurgical, mining industries. SUBSTANCE: classifier has cylindrical casing and conical deflector positioned on shaft within casing. Tangential pipe for supplying primary air flow and material and pipes for discharging small-sized and large-sized separation products are positioned within casing, with small and large sized product discharge pipes being positioned in upper and lower parts of casing, respectively. Classifier has coaxial annular chamber with rotary vertical blades. Outer wall of annular chamber has windows 11 for supplying secondary air flow, upper and lower walls are made continuous and inner wall is formed as truncated cone separated from chamber lower wall by annular space extending at the level of conical deflector. Particles are introduced into separation zone at the level of one diameter under equal conditions. Besides, large particles have speed component directed downward to eliminate accumulation of dense boundary layer of particles and, thus, getting of small sized product into large sized product. Radial direction of secondary air flow facilitates improved separating quality due to repeated separation of material. Such construction allows particles of different sizes (5-300 micron) to be separated. EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved quality of separated product and wider operational capabilities. |
