<p>Sources of gamma radiation (16) in a zone of observation (14) are studied using an optical camera (18) sighting through a mirror (20) and a gamma ray pin hole chamber . The optical camera provides electrical signals corresponding to the zone of observation. The gamma ray pin hole chamber (10) has a collimator (24), protective backplate (22) and a detector plate (26) which supplies electrical signals as a function of the radiation in the observation zone. The two sets of electrical signals are processed (32) such that the visible and radiation images may be superimposed (44).</p> |
