FIELD: catalysts in industrial organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to improved method of aniline production via vapor-phase hydrogenation of nitrobenzene and may find use in dye production as well as in petrochemical industry for hydrogenation of nitro compounds into primary amines suitable for caprolactam production. Method is distinguished with that, as a carrier, aluminium hydroxide is used, which is mixed with a vanadium compound in presence of nitric acid with acid modulus 0.015-0.1 and water followed by extrusion, drying, calcination, and impregnation of extrudates obtained with aqueous solution of nickel and copper salts. Compared to catalysts prepared following known procedures, catalyst of invention, requiring less effort and power consumption, is more selective. Simpler procedure of preparation reduces outbursts into atmosphere. EFFECT: reduced cost and increased selectivity. |
